Antique or Vintage ? Jackson Guldan Copy of Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17
Stamped inside Jackson Guldan Violin Columbus Ohio if that means anything to you. Not my area of expertise.
Appears to be in very good condition overall with no cracks or damage that I can visually see, only normal edge/high point wear from age and use. Overall I'm guessing this one is above average for its age.
Violin measures approximately 23" long x 8 1/2 wide. Case measures 32" long. Bow measures 29" long and will need to be restrung otherwise it looks good with no cracks or damage.
Beautiful wood on backside of the violin especially, as you can see! Strings are made of metal and look to be in very good vintage condition.
Note: The case is quite worn, looks to be original the violin, however the bow appears to be vintage but not nearly as old as the violin itself so I'm putting no value on either the case or bow but they are included in the deal since they came with it when I got it at a local estate sale.
