JAMES SWAN CHISELS: SET OF FIVE FIRMER LENGTH GOOD USER GRADE CONDITION!

Description

This auction is for a set of five James Swan bevel-edge socket chisels in good "user-grade" condition. The chisels have areas of minor pitting and discoloration and they will need sharpening prior to being used. They are all marked with the previous owners initials "F. L. B." The 7/8 and 3/4" wide chisel are marked "JAMES SWAN BEST CAST STEEL" and have the swan logo. The 3/8" wide chisel is marked "JAMES SWAN. The 1/4" and 1/8" wide chisels are NOT MARKED JAMES SWAN but are part of the set owned by F. L. B. The 7/8" chisel is 13 & 5/8" long with a 5 & 1/2" long blade. The 3/4" wide chisel measures 13" long and has a 5 & 1/2" long blade. The 3/8" wide chisel measures12 & 1/2" long with a 5 & 1/32" long blade. The 1/4" wide chisel is 11 & 3/8" long with a 5 & 3/4" long blade. The 1/8" wide chisel is 11 & 1/2" long and has a 6" long blade. All chisels have leather-tipped handles but they don't match.
