Nicola Amati 1651 14” Viola Made in Germany 1824 Starting Auction Price ,,, .00 ….. I’m no Violin or Viola expert ,, I did have it looked over by Stamell Stringed Instruments of Poughkeepsie NY. Who said it is in great playing condition and needs no repair and that it is a Viola ,, Inside the Viola there is a label that says Nicola Amati 1651 .. Made in Germany 1824. I do not know when this was made or what those labels exactly mean … And I don’t remember asking about that …It does Not come with a bow ,,, it comes with the case pictured. ,, The Viola itself has some scratches and worn areas on the front and sides ,, I tried to show them all in the photos. The case is sturdy but also has
some areas that are worn, and scuffed . I tried to show all these areas in the photos but because I could only use 12 photos I could not get them all ,, they are mostly cosmetic ,, but most of the metal pieces in the case have some speckled rust and pitting , but the case is functional and opens and closes and the latches work ,, any questions please ask and I will try to answer them.
