Oxide Colour Powder Cosmetics, Soap, Bath Bombs Nail Art, Eye shadow. Wax Candle**, ceramic, cement.
Please note you will need to pre-mix the oxide in various liquids, mixing directly could leave un dissolved colours and residue. THE OXIDES ARE NOT WATER Soluble. Use isopropyl, perfumers alcohol or similar and a mini whisk, whisk until it has all dissolved, you can also whisk in a light carrier oil again until mixed totally, using a mini whisk is perfect, you can put through a mini sieve to pass it through. when using in melt and pour soap mixing in a little soap before adding to the rest of the soap with a gentle stir, do not whisk in Melt and pour. When colouring Cold Process add colour soon after oils and lye are mixed so you do not advance trace more than needed.  Only experienced users can use pigments or oxides to colour wax, too much colour can clog wicks for candles.

These Colour Oxide Powders are Cosmetic grade, good for  Cold Process & M&P soap making, Body Butters, Bath Bombs, Bath Salts, Eye Shadows, Blushers, Nail Art.
These Mica Colours can also be used for plastics, Paints, Resins, Artwork, Ceramics, Plaster, and cement mouldings although we do not carry instructions for this. Testing a small amount is ALWAYS
recommended.

SOAP USE
M&P SOAP
PLEASE REMEMBER! These pigments disperse in oil not water so ensure the pigments are fully mixed in before finalising for moulds etc.
You may wish to mix in rubbing alcohol with a mini whisk, or mix in a little Oil before adding to the soap, do not whisk the soap you will introduce air bubbles.
If there are any clumps floating to top spray with rubbing alcohol to help disperse the pigment/mica. Clear M&P will always show Mica much better as the light will catch and sparkle through. So glitter effects will always show better in clear. Deep colours will colour with Mica but when colouring white M&P, there will be a pastel colour as white M&P is coloured by Titanium Dioxide which is extreme white colourant.
COLD PROCESS SOAP
When using in Cold Process soap adding ensure that it is well blended in or clumps can hide inside the set loaf. You can mix the colourant in rubbing alcohol or some of the oils before adding to the batter if preferred, mix at very thin trace to allow colour mix before the trace gets too thick. Start with 1-2 tsp per 1lb/500g of batter.
BATH BOMBS
Please remember when using Mica Pigments that using Polysorbate (PSB) or 1 to1 emulsifiers will stop colour attaching to you or your bath tub or leave a slick as the additives allow the oils and water to mix). THIS COLOURANT IS STRONG AND CAN STAIN SURFACES AND CLOTHING TAKE ADEQUATE PRECAUTIONS!
You can also mix Oils or rubbing alcohol with pigments and use the  “Blooming” method. Basically it means mixing all your ingredients bar the Citric Acid then allowing to dry then adding the citric mixing well and just spritzing as you would to get your wet sand consistency (Please check "you tube" for “Blooming” techniques.
COSMETIC USE
Please ensure colourants are fully mixed\dispersed. Test batch small amounts before making large batches, always follow instructions carefully when needed.
CANDLE USE
Thoroughly mix colourants in wax to ensure no clumps, you can mix with a mini whisk in a small amount of hot wax before adding to main batch if it cools pop it in a bain marie or micro to melt. Adding a lot of pigment can affect burning so make a small batch/candle first, this will stop wastage and you can gauge how much you will need accurately by multiplying you test batch.
