    Description

    A very nice Parker DeLuxe Challenger fountain pen in black with the Royal Challenger (sword clip) cap and a fine point 14k Parker nib. This is a rare cap and fits the Deluxe Challenger barrel…but this is not the correct cap for this model. This pens is in good overall condition with normal age related wear. Very clean. Barrel and cap show minor marks, nick, and dings.  Some wear on the end of the barrel from cap posting. Barrel imprint is good. Gold filled trim is in good shape, showing some minor wear. Push button filling system is in working order. New ink sac installed. Nice transparent ink view section. Please see pictures for more details on exterior condition.
    The 14k Parker nib offers a smooth fine line with some mild flex. Nice nib. Please see sample writing in photos. Pen measures approximately 4 5/8 inches (117mm) in length capped. A very nice Parker DeLuxe Challenger with a mismatched but highly sought after cap! In good working order with a nice nib.
