Product description
These small boxes are engraved “First Curl” on the top of the box.  They will hold a small clipping of hair from your child or grandchild.  Although we have heard of the hold a clipping of hair from a mother.  And we even had one balding man who wanted to store a ‘hank’ of hair before it was all gone.
These are not the typical boxes that were made by the Shakers.  Instead they are several sizes smaller than the smallest boxes made by the Shakers.  While we craft these boxes in the methods used by the Shakers, we utilize unique and exotic woods for color and beauty.  If you don’t see one that beckons you, send us an email and we should be able to make one to suit your tastes.
