    Description

These are three socket chisel  handles that were made to fit vintage Stanley No. 750 chisels. (or chisels with the same profile)  The type that came with maroon handles and were stamped No. 750 on the socket of the chisel.  They are not made to fit the newer Stanley 750 chisels that are currently in production.  These are made to fit smaller chisels, with 3/4 wide blades and smaller.  I test fitted each of these when I was making them.
Chisels are made in specific sizes and tapers.  So chisels of other sizes and brands that are not indicated or specified in the description; will probably not fit these handles.
These are finished light brown. (See pictures for more information)
The approximate dimensions for the handles are give below:
The handles measure about .58-.59 at the thickest end of the socket  and about .34-.35 at the end or point of the socket.   They are about 3.7-3.8 inches long without the tenon and about 4.8-4.9 inches overall in total length with the tenon.  These handles should fit vintage no 750 chisels with blades that are 3/4 inch or smaller.  These chisels should measure about 1/2 inch at the opening of the socket you can measure your chisels to check for fit.
These handles are oversize and made to fit back from the shoulder about 5/16 to 3/8 of an inch similar to the original 750 handles.  These handles were turned by hand and there is some variation in the dimensions.  The dimensions given are approximations and rounded off.
