    Description

    Welcome! Up for bid is this vintage Parker 22K Heavy Gold Plated Fountain Pen with the attached tag and instructions. The pen is marked "Parker QE Made in U.S.A." around the bottom rim of the cap and the nib (M-medium) is marked "Parker 14K Point U.S.A." The tag is marked "22K Heavy Gold Plate Parker" and the instruction booklet is marked "No. 0-131-628/Printed in U.S.A./2/82". From doing some research, the QE is a date code meaning it was made in the first quarter of 1980.
    I had sold a similar pen not along ago that I found while helping my Mom clean out some drawers. My sister remembered she also had a Parker pen like the one I sold, but she doesn't have the box or extra refills, etc. She doesn't think she ever used the pen, but the ink has dried out and thus it will need a new cartridge. The outside of the pen, which is approx. 5" long, is in very good condition. (Please see all photos.)
