DESCRIPTION & CONDITION
This auction is for a gently used, reputable Nagoya Suzuki Japan violin in its case with two bows.  This size 220 3/4 violin is in very good to excellent condition and was previously used by a young person.  By its appearance, it doesn't appear this violin was used very much but does have very minor, small typical handling and glaze scuffs on some areas of the edges and under the bridge. Nothing that really stands out. It is missing the two center strings but comes with two new Red Label E 4/4 plain medium ss2117 strings by Super-Sensitive musical string co. USA.  The two bows are marked Glasser and are both perfect. One appears to have been used more often than the other. The bridge is a Leon Aubert, made in France. The hard case does not have a makers mark or tag and is in overall very good condition with small use and handling wear. That said, it does have damaged hinges being held together by wire as seen in photo #11.  The wire keeps the hinges together well and because of it and the fabric wrap construction, it functions perfectly. The zipper also works perfectly. No need to go out and buy a new one.
