Vintage campfire popcorn popper chestnut roaster metal basket w/ lid

Description

This is a vintage campfire popcorn or chestnut roaster. Due to age and use as seen in the photos it has signs of campfire use etc. It makes fabulous popcorn and has been on our family for years.
It does need a good cleaning and could use a new knob as see in the pictures but we used it without it, sliding it open with an oven mitt.
It has an actual wood insert in the handle.
It is time to pass this on to another family and let the family traditions around the crackling campfire continue.
