VINTAGE GERMAN VIOLIN BOW 60 GRAMS 28 3/4" LENGTH PFRETZSCHNER GOTZ ?
Vintage German violin bow from the turn of century to mid 20th. Part of our large collection. We have many listed and are listing daily. Leather handle with windings, not sure of what that material is. The length is 28 3/4"" and the weight is 60 grams. Pernambuco wood. Good camber and seems straight . Plays well and the hairs are still in good enough condition. I see the tip protector is missing in part, does not effect anything. MOP inlay with ebony frog and silver decor. This violin bow can be used for 7/8 violins or 4/4 violins. Maybe Gotz or Pfretzschner, as we had many of these from Germany.
