Rosalia Quam carved pipe stone horse with turquoise eyes and turquoise arrowhead on back.
Rosalia Quam (1941-1989) married to Andrew Emerson Quam (d)
In the mid 1970's Rosalia started making stand alone fetishes. She created a wide variety
of animals including frogs,owls,horses,turtles and bears. While her frogs were bulbous, her
other carvings were sharply angular.
Condition is excellent....no chips or cracks....few made in pipe stone
Comes from a smoke free home.
Size is 1 7/8 in. long.........7/16 in. wide......approx. 1 in. tall
