    ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1946 PARKER VACUMATIC STANDARD IN AZURE BLUE PEARL

    Up for bids is a very nice vintage 1946 Parker Vacumatic fountain pen in Azure Blue Pearl laminated plastic. The nib and barrel are marked with the number 6 surrounded by three dots, indicating that it was made during the first quarter of 1946. The pen is generally in very good condition, with no cracks or damage to the plastic of the barrel or cap, a very good nib, and a filling mechanism that moves freely. The bladder is pliable, but has not been tested for cracks. It appears to be fully functional, though it has not been tested. The only detail that needs fixing is the clip, which is broken but easily replaced.
    Barrel marked: GEO. S. PARKER PARKER VACUMATIC MADE IN U.S.A. 6
    Nib marked: PARKER U.S.A. 6
    Measures: 5 inches in length.
    Condition: Generally very good, with minimal surface wear. Clip is broken, and needs to be replaced.
    Selling as is for repair or parts due to factor noted above.  Very nice project.
