    This is a simple-to-use RS232-to-serial base unit for the XBee line. This unit works with all XBee modules including the Series 1 and Series 2.5, standard and Pro version. Plug an XBee module into the socket (tapered end of the XBee facing the edge of the board), attach an RS232 cable, power the board (5V-16V), and you will have direct access to the serial and programming pins on the XBee unit. The board also supports DTR communication so you can reprogram and configure the XBee unit.

    Note: When plugging in your XBee unit, the tapered end should face the edge of the board, hovering just over the LEDs.
